Dykor®

Dykor® is a specialty line of coatings that combines resins from the polyvinylidene (PVDF) family and appropriate fillers (typically graphite and mica). The system provides outstanding chemical, corrosion, and UV resistance. Typical dry film thickness is 0.002″ to 0.020″.

Dykor® can be applied to most metal substrates that can be heated to 550°F. It is often used in the semiconductor, medical and chemical processing industries because of its excellent resistance to most solvents and chemicals and high dielectric strength. Available in 12 standard colors and can be “color matched” upon request (additional fees may apply). Maximum operating temperature is 275°F.

Dykor® is also utilized in electrical insulation applications since it has a high dielectric strength (950 volts per mil).
